Always good to hear Toby and Seth!

Subject: Dead Sessions!
Absolutely killer show. Toby and Seth show incredible dynamism throughout, with mind-bending solos and call/response interplay (when they come back to Music Never Stopped.. holy God, magic and rainbows). The rest of the band is spot-on too, with energetic and accurate renditions of every song on the setlist (which is also fantastic). You could tell everyone up there was having a ball, and it showed -- the audience was going wild. There's not too many people playing the Dead like these guys any more.

The recording itself could use a little more volume for Seth and Toby, who sound kind of drowned out in the first set. In a way it's nice because you hear a lot more of Adam, who I thought could have used more volume during the show itself... he was exceptional all night on the keyboards (check out Sugaree... wow!). That being said, it is an otherwise outstanding recording. It's VERY clear, very balanced, and it does a great job capturing the performance and the vibe of the show.

Thanks Shiva for the recording and upload, and thanks again to Dead Sessions for an unforgettable night of jammin' and dancin'.
